Food & Beverage West Africa
Food and Beverage West Africa 2019 hosted over 4,200 visitors consisting of importers, retailers, distributors, restaurant management, commercial kitchens and more… This impressive number of visitors were welcomed by over 130 exhibitors, both local and international, showcasing the latest products, services and equipment from the global food and beverage market.
The event is the only exhibition across the region to be partnered with the below partners which enabled us to present an extremely high standard of professional attendees cutting across the entire regional F&B sector. This included the largest supermarkets and retailers, the largest fast food and restaurant chains and also the biggest import groups across the region.
The National Association of Supermarket Operators of Nigeria (NASON)
The Restaurant and Food Services Proprietors Association of Nigeria (REFSPAN)
Balogun Business Association of the Trade Fair Complex Lagos
Onitsha Main Market
Oke Arin Food and Beverage Traders Association
Eziukwu Market Food and Beverage Dealers Association, Aba
But supermarket chains are still considerably fragmented and relatively small, so don’t yet have the buying power seen by larger supermarket chains on other continents. That means suppliers can have a better say in commercial deals in Nigeria.
While more traditional retailers predominate, they too are recognising the demand for customer choice and convenience by increasing product range, increasing the proportion of packaged goods, and having longer retailing hours.
Food and Beverage West Africa is therefore a fantastic opportunity to showcase new food and drink products and to build better business connections across the grocery, catering and wider F&B industry in Nigeria and beyond.
Food and Beverage West Africa is organised by BtoB Events. Our team brings together the expertise behind the launches of the world’s largest specialist exhibitions, and has a wealth of experience of exhibiting in Nigeria and West Africa, including the food retailing sector
