Your Yahoo account provides access to a range of online resources, including Yahoo Mail, personalized settings on the Yahoo homepage, and Flickr photo and video uploads. If you no longer require or desire these services, you can cancel your Yahoo account.

How to delete your Yahoo account
Few clicks are required to delete your Yahoo account. This deactivates all Yahoo services, such as email, Flickr, and your Yahoo identity, which allows you to customize the Yahoo homepage.
1. Launch a web browser and navigate to the My Subscriptions dashboard. Verify that you have no active paid subscriptions and, if required, cancel them.
2. In a web browser, access the Yahoo account termination page.

4. Click Continue to permanently delete my account.
5. On the following page, enter your email address and click Yes, delete this account.

While there is no way to temporarily deactivate your Yahoo account – you can only delete it — it is possible to change your mind and reactivate your account within 30 days of removing it (certain countries have longer hold periods). To accomplish this:
