Don Jazzy is a Nigerian record producer, performer, songwriter, and businessman. In 2004, he and D’banj co-founded the now-defunct Mo’Hits Records, then on May 8th, 2012, they launched Mavin Records after Mo’Hits shut down for reasons only they and D’banj knew. His real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, but he adopted the nickname Don Jazzy in high school since he is a big guy through and through.

Don Jazzy is from Delta State but was born on November 26, 1982 in Umuahia, Abia State. He was raised in Ajegunle, Lagos, after his family relocated there from Abia State.
