Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment
- Administer medications and follow prescribed treatment plans under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients including light housekeeping duties
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Skills and Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred but not essential
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in responding to the needs of clients
- Willingness to undergo training and certification as required
